I started working with ceramics in February 2021. What prompted me was working with clay and making magnets for an American car show—magnets I created for friends. I noticed that working with clay relaxed and calmed me, in addition to the endless range of colors not available in regular stores. This is how my adventure, and now my passion, began. I must also mention that my drive came from a desire to leave any corporate job and work in such companies. Initially, I started with casting, eager to create my own forms, until my first encounter with the wheel. The wheel captivated me—I gave up casting and began intense learning and practice, and that has remained with me to this day. I have always experimented, doing things unconventionally, often risking the destruction of the pieces I’ve created. Currently, 99% of my work comes from the wheel. I fire my pieces in electric, gas, and raku kilns. I’m starting to create my own glazes and have begun combining copper with ceramics, continuously experimenting with shapes, techniques, and processes. Ideas often come to me in the early morning, you could say in a half-dream state. Sometimes I go downstairs in the early morning to sketch something, just in case I forget.
